Ingalls Peak - South Ridge

Here I'm about half way up the south face

The South Face (ridge) of Ingalls is a great short rock climb.  There is the easy 5.6 varriation which we took and looked much nicer than the normal route.  The crack starts at the giant hunk of anomolous serpentine rock just up from dog tooth crag.  Work up to a big ledge and set in a belay at base of crack in mid-face.  Climb the crack up to the monster rapp bolts in mid-face.  Then climb easier rock strait up to a short step and more belay bolts.  Easier ground leads to the summit.  To descend, just rapp the route (a double rope is nice here).
