Unfortunatly, since the 1972 guide was published a massive rockfall
has destroyed the Electical Engineering Building route. There are
no current routes on the "fortress" of the new EE1 building.
To comemerate the efforts of TB, here is the old route description:
Mantle the overhang on the north east buttress using a small ledge
for an intermediate foothold. Solution holes provide a route with
a strenous mantle to the ledge above. From here open the window
into the stairwell and step up into it. A knee stand in the window
will enable you to reach the smooth edge of the roof and mantle.
The summit some is gained by climbing an air intake on downsloping
holds. Descent is via stairway within the building. H
